Read Biography

I am the Assistant Manager at 43 Sedlescombe Road South and have been in this role since August 2022.  I have worked for ASD Unique Services LLP since April 2018 when they set this up as a new service and am proud to be part of the team which helped us to get Outstanding at our last inspection by CQC.

I have been working in the health and social care sector since May 2010 after deciding to make a complete career change, and have never looked back. I have worked with dementia patients and then moved onto supporting adults wih learning disabilities.

I take great pride in keeping a warm friendly atmosphere for the Service Users and staff, ensuring relatives that their loved ones are in good hands.

I have my level 1, 2, & 3 NVQ Health & Social Care and plan to complete further training to gain a greater insight into my role within the Company.

In addition to this I also completed the Analysis of Severe and Challenging Behaviour. In February 2018, I completed a Positive and Proactive Care Managers Programme which enabled the company to review our current Positive Behaviour Support Focus. I have also recently completed the British Institute of Learning Disabilities Positive Behaviour Support Coaching programme in May 2018.

I enjoy a very close working relationship with the Partners and work with them on a day-to-day basis to offer the best level of care possible. I really enjoy seeing our Service Users reach their full potential and am passionate about assisting them to achieve their goals.
